Ingredients:

  • Onion – 1
  • Tomato -1
  • Green Chilli -1
  • Moong Dal – 100 gms
  • Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Ghee- 1 tbsp
  • Cuming Seeds -1 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required
  • Kasturi Methi – 1 tbsp

Method:

  • Heat a pan, add ghee to it. Once it gets heated, add cuming seeds. Wait till it splutters
  • Add onion, tomato, green chilli and saute for 2 minutes

  • Now add moong dal, salt and chilli powder

  • Add water and pressure cook for 3-4 whisles
  • Once the pressure releases, Open the lid, saute it well
  • Garnish with kasturi methi for flavor (You can also add Corainder leaves)
  • Ready to Serve with Jeera Rice/Chapathi
