  • Urad Dal – 1 cup (100 gms)
  • Channa Dal – 1/2 Cup (50 gms)
  • Red Chillis – 3
  • Sesame Seeds – 2 tbsp
  • Asoefotida
  • Salt as required
  • Curry Leaves
  • gingely oil as required

How to do:

  • Dry Roast channa dal and urad dal in frying pan with some oil
  • Once it is roasted to golden brown colour, take it out

  • Roast Sesame seeds. Once it splutters, add red chillis and curry leaves
  • Grind it into powder (depends on taste, grind into fine powder) adding salt and asoefotida
  • Ready to serve with Dosa/Idli
