
Carrot Halwa is a healthy sweet to try at home. One day, mistakingly I bought two bunches of carrots and thought of trying out a quick halwa. The recipe needs basic ingredients available at home and requires less time to prepare it. As carrot itself gives sweetness, can avoid adding extra outside sugar
Preparation Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 25 mins | Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
- Milk – 1 Cup
- Carrot – 1.5 Cup ( 2 carrots -grated)
- Sugar – 1 Cup
- Cardamom Powder – 1 Pinch
- Ghee
- For Seasoning:
- Cashew Nuts
- Raisins

Method:
- In a heavy bottomed pan, add ghee. Saute raisins and cashews for 3 minutes. Set aside
- Now add our grated carrot, saute it for 3-5 minutes
- Milk can be added now, mix it. Allow it to boil
- Once the milk starts boiling, saute it well and close with lid
- Occasionally saute the mixture for every 3 minutes
- When the milk lowers the level to half, add cardomom powder and sugar
- Stir it well till the halwa thicken
- Yummy!!!Now our carrot halwa is “Ready to Serve”
