Vegetable Fried Rice is a good attempt to try as a beginner as it requires very little effort. I normally customize the menu with the veggies which are available to me that day. Recipe is so simple and I share it below with the one which I tried out at home.
Ingredients:
Preparation Time: 10 mins| Cooking Time : 15Â Mins | Serves: 2-3
- Carrot -2
- Beans -150 gms
- Peas – 1 Cup
- Capsicum -1
- Spring Onion
- Pepper Powder
- Ginger
- Garlic -2
- Green Chillis -2
- Basmati Rice – 1 Cup (cook the rice and keep it aside)
- Ghee/Oil
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Salt
Method:
- Heat a pan, add ghee/oil into it
- Add sugar. (for mild flavour and colour)
- Now, add ginger,garlic,green chillis
- Once the raw smell goes, add Carrot,Beans and cook for 5 minutes. Salt can be added now
- Capsicum and peas are added when the carrot,beans are half cooked
- Add Basmati rice to it and pepper powder
- Ready to Serve
