Vegetable Fried Rice

Vegetable Fried Rice is a good attempt to try as a beginner as it requires very little effort.  I normally customize the menu with the veggies which are available to me that day. Recipe is so simple and I share it below with the one which I tried out at home.

Ingredients:

Preparation Time: 10 mins| Cooking Time : 15 Mins | Serves: 2-3
  • Carrot -2
  • Beans -150 gms
  • Peas – 1 Cup
  • Capsicum -1
  • Spring Onion
  • Pepper Powder
  • Ginger
  • Garlic -2
  • Green Chillis -2
  • Basmati Rice – 1 Cup (cook the rice and keep it aside)
  • Ghee/Oil
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt

Method:

  1. Heat a pan, add ghee/oil into it
  2. Add sugar. (for mild flavour and colour)
  3. Now, add ginger,garlic,green chillis
  4. Once the raw smell goes, add Carrot,Beans and cook for 5 minutes. Salt can be added now
  5. Capsicum and peas are added when the carrot,beans are half cooked
  6. Add Basmati rice to it and pepper powder
  7. Ready to Serve
