Pizzas can be prepared at home so easily. When I initially thought of preparing home made pizzas, I wanted to try it out from Scratch. So decided to prepared base for my own pizza at home. It is simply like making chapathis with little modifications
Preparation Time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
- Maida Flour – 300 gms
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Dry Yeast – 2 tbsp
- Warm Water – 1/2 Cup
- Salt as required
Method:
- Put Dry Yeast into Warm water along with sugar. Yeast gets grown along with sugar in 5 minutes
- Use this mixture with Flour along with Salt and Sugar for preparing dough for Pizza base
- Approximately, it takes about 15- 20 minutes for making dough with hand (ofcourse a good exercise). Cover it with Wet cloth and set aside for 1 hour so that the size gets doubled
- After 1 hour, split the dough into 2 halves and roll it like a chapati with more thickness. Make sure to put holes then and there in the dough for spreading the heat evenly while baking
- Heat the dosa tawa, place it for 1 minute each side (This step is optional to make base for future use)
