Poori

Pooris are always tempting to have at home since childhood. I always prefer Poori instead of Chapathis. When I get bored of doing upma, idli, dosa, poori will be my next choice. Pooris always require a good side dish like Channa masala or Potato Masala. Once everything is ready, its a great combo breakfast that day

Preparation Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 2 mins /poori

Ingredients:

  • Wheat Flour – 1 Cup
  • Chilli Powder – 2 tbsp
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • Water – 3/4 cup
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required

Method:

  • Mix all ingredients and prepare dough

  

  • Divide into small Balls and roll it as chapati but in small sizes(you can use lid of any small box for round shape)

  • Heat a pan, add oil in it and wait till it gets hot
  • Put poori one at a time. Once it gets fried, take out and filter its oil

  • Ready to Serve 🙂
