
White Sauce Pasta is always tempting to eat whenever I go to any Italian restaurant. One day, When my husband asked me to try some Italian dish at home, I asked myself why not try our favourite recipe. I had this Rigotini type of pasta at my store room, which was purchased long back ago. I took it out and tried this recipe myself at home. I cannot say its 100 percent pefect restaurant type, but much satisfying home made one.
Ingredients:
Preparation Time : 10 mins | Cooking Time : 20 Mins | Serves: 2-3
- Pasta (any type) – 1 cup (200 gms)
- Onion -1
- garlic – 3 pods (finely chopped)
- Water – 1 Cup
- Maida – 2 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
- Corn- 2 tbsp
- Broccoli – 3 florets (chopped)
- Mozzarella Cheese – 1/2 Cup
- Milk – 1/2 Cup
- Pepper as required
- olive oil as required
- salt as required

Method:
- Take a pasta in a heavy bottomed pan, add water to dissolve it and put a pinch of salt and a drop of olive oil
- Heat it for around 7-10 minutes as per given instruction in the pasta packet ( time varies for each pasta. stick to the one given in the pasta packet instructions). Boil till the pasta gets cooked
- Once pasta is cooked, filter it from excess water and set aside
- Also, cook broccoli and corn in a pan for 5 minutes and keep it ready

- In a pan, add oil. Once it is hot, put cumin seeds in it. When it splutters, add chopped garlic and saute it for a minute
- Onions can be added now, saute till it becomes translucent
- Add maida into the pan and immediately along with some water. Mix well without creating any lumps.Let it boil for a minute ( this step is to thicken the pasta)
- Pour the milk and allow it to boil. Once boiled, add cheese and salt to our taste. Mix everything together and saute for 2 minutes
- Now add our cooked pasta into the mixture and combine it together with the prepared white sauce
- We can add our veggies to it and serve hot by adding some required pepper as per taste
