Pavakkai is one item I used to avoid as it gives bitter taste. When I went to my sister’s home, she did the recipe by adding few items to overcome its bitterness. So, I took recipe from her and tried it out. It came out really well and I perfectly enjoyed its taste now.
Ingredients:
- Bitter guord – 2 big
- Curd -1/2 cup
- Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Corainder powder – 1 tsp
- Salt as required
Method:
- Take a bowl, add all the given ingredients and mix well
- Set aside for 20 minutes
- In a pan, add oil and add our dry mix and close it
- Frying normally takes some time of 15-20 minutes. Open the lid and saute it in between
- When you get the required crispiness, switch off the flame
