Pistachio Pudding

(eggless with custard powder)

Pistachio Pudding is a simple and quick dessert recipe. it has been in my to do list for long time and Recently, I got this recipe from my friend and tried it out at home. It can be made so easily with basic ingredients such as custard powder, milk and sugar. There is no pre preparation works needed and only wait time is there for tasting this delicious eggless custard powder pudding


preparation time: 5 mins | Cook time: 15 mins | wait time: 2 hours

  • Milk – 1 1/2 cup
  • Custard powder (Pista flavor) – 3 tbsp
  • sugar – 3 tbsp
  • few assorted nuts


  • Pre- task: in a bowl, mix custard powder with 1/2 cup of milk without creating any lumps and keep this aside
  • take a pan, add milk and boil it.stir it Occasionally
  • once it starts boiling, add sugar and dissolve it
  • lower the flame. add the custard powder mixture in the milk slowly to avoid creating lumps
  • Stir Continuously Without Getting Burnt At The Bottom
  • when the texture turns thicker lightly, switch off flame. (normally it takes around 3-5 minutes once the custard powder is added)
  • pour it in a bowl or any mould of your choice. allow it to come down to normal room temperature
  • Once It Is Cooled, Refrigerate The Content For Approximately 2 Hours
  • after 2 hours time, take out and place the upside down in a flat plate and take out gently
  • Eggless Custard powder pudding is ready!!!
