Chocolate Brownie (Eggless)

Chocolate brownie eggless are always a favorite dessert item for many people. If combined with ice cream, will be of delicious treat for all. Today, I tried out eggless brownies at home. literally, the process is so simple that it required adequate time for baking than cooking. Sharing below the recipe i followed

Ingredients for Chocolate Brownie eggless:

  • Refined Flour – 1 Cup (200 grams)
  • Cocoa powder – 1/4 cup
  • sugar – 3/4 cup ( i used cane sugar)
  • baking powder – 1 tsp
  • butter – 1/2 cup. (100 grams)
  • Chocolates – 150 grams
  • milk – 1/2 cup (100ml)
  • curd -1/2 cup ( 100ml)
  • walnuts as required

Method:

Step 1- batter preparation for chocolate brownies

  • Take water in a vessel and place a bowl containing butter (100 grams) and Chocolates (100 grams) on top of boiling water. This will help to melt butter and chocolates.
  • Alternatively, microwave butter and chocolates for 1-2 minutes
  • in a dry bowl, pour the butter chocolate mix
  • now add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder using seive/filter to avoid any lumps and mix it
  • sugar can be added in the bowl
  • pour milk and curd in the mix and combine it well. (Curd is used here as substitute for egg)
  • add Vanilla essence as well now
  • brownie batter is ready for baking
  • take a baking pan, place parchment paper inside
  • put in the batter and tap gently to spread evenly
  • sprinkle few walnuts on top for flavor

Step 2- Baking:

Oven Method:

  • pre-heat oven at 180c/350F for 10 minutes.
  • Place the baking tray inside the oven
  • Bake it for 15-20 minutes

Stove Top Method:

  • Take A Heavy Bottomed Pan, Place A Stand Inside For Stovetop Baking
  • pre-heat for 15 minutes on high flame
  • place The baking tray inside and close with lid and bake it For 15-20 Minutes on medium flame (check for burning at the bottom Occasionally)
  • Once Baking Is Done, Baking Tray Is Taken Out and Place it Upside Down In A Flat Surface
  • Tap and remove the parchment paper gently. turn it to other side (check if cooked by picking a hole using toothpick and batter should not stick in it)
  • slice into desired shape
  • layer chocolate syrup on top ( melt few more chocolate and pour it in a zip lock cover and apply zig-zag way)
  • eggless chocolate brownie is ready to serve!!! Serve hot with icecream!!! (Check out Vanilla Ice Cream recipe)
