
Paneer Tikka Pizza is an Indian version of pizza variety. It follows same process like Normal Pizzas with one extra step of “combining paneer and vegetables with masala items and marinating the mixture for 2 hours”. In this recipe, i prepared one 9 inch pizza (from scratch) including pizza base preparation. This recipe really delicious and mouth-watering to try out at home
Ingredients to make whole wheat Paneer Tikka Pizza:
For Pizza Base Preparation:
- Whole Wheat Flour – 2 Cups (400 grams)
- Water – 1 cup (150ml)
- sugar – 1tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Active Instant Yeast – 2 tsp
For Paneer Tikka Marination:
- Paneer Cubes – 100grams
- vegetables – 1 cup (I took Onions, Bell peppers cut Diced)
- curd – 1/2 cup (100ml)
- chili powder – 1 tsp
- turmeric powder – 1/8 tsp
- garam masala powder – 1tsp
- coriander powder – 1 tsp
- cumin powder -1/2 tsp
- dry kasturi methi leaves – 1 tsp
- ginger garlic paste – tbsp
- salt as required
- lemon juice – 1tsp
- Olive oil – 1 tsp
For Pizza Toppings:
- tomato pizza sauce – 1/2 cup
- Black Olives – 50grams
- sweet corn – 50grams
- shredded Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup ( 200grams)
- parmesan cheese – 1/4 cup (for extra cheese)- optional, according to choice
Method:
Preparation Time: 15 mins || Wait Time: 2 hours || Cook Time: 15 mins || Serves: 2-3
Step 1 – Pizza Base Preparation:
Yeast Activation:
- Take a luke warm water, dissolve sugar in it
- mix the dry yeast without making any lumps
- set is aside for 10 minutes
- yeast gets activated forming froth on top layer
Dough Preparation:
- take a bowl, mix whole wheat flour and salt
- yeast water is added for dough preparation by adding partly
- knead the dough well for 10-15 minutes which gives softness for pizza base
- once the dough is prepared, apply oil on surface and close it with a wrap or air tight container
- set it aside for 2 hours for proofing
- after 2 hours, we get double the size of dough
Step 2 – Paneer Tikka Marination:
- Take a bowl, add curd
- Add chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder
- put in ginger garlic paste in the mixture along with required salt
- combine everthing together without making any lumps
- add paneer cubes on top
- bell peppers can be added now ( Can Add Any Vegetables Of Choice)
- sprinkle dry kasturi leaves and a tsp of lemon juice
- mix well with a tsp of oil
Both dough and paneer tikka is set aside for 2 hours for proofing and marination respectively

Step 3 – Making Pizza:
everything is now available to make simple whole wheat paneer tikka pizza

- Pre Heat Oven For 350F/180C For 10 Minutes
- Take A Baking Pan, I Used Cast Iron. Spread The Dough Evenly On It
- Start Layering The Toppings – Expand Base, Spread Tomato Sauce On Top, sprinkle few cheese
- Next, layer the top with Marinated Paneer tikka
- Add Shredded Cheese And Add Black Olives, Sweet Corn)
- Put Some More Cheese On Top ( Cheese Can Be Added As Per Taste)
- Place It In The Oven And Bake It For 15 Minutes (Pizza Gets Ready Once The Cheese Is Melted)
