
Pizza Dosa or Vegetable Dosa is just a fusion of Traditional Dosa recipe with Pizza. Dosa is a common breakfast item in South India. When combined with Vegetables and cheese of our choice, will give a delightful pizza Dosa at home. A small additional tips to prepare pizza dosa is to roll the dosa batter thickly like set dosa or mini dosa or uthappam to hold the pizza toppings on top surface. Also, this dosa has to be served hot. otherwise, it will become soggy. Sharing below the recipe i followed
Ingredients to make Pizza Dosa or Vegetable Dosa:
Preparation Time: 10 mins || Cook time: 10 mins || Serves: 2 pizza dosa (medium size)
- Dosa Batter – 1 cup (200ml)
- pizza sauce – 1/2 cup
- capsicums/bell peppers – 1 cup
- onion – 1 medium
- Olives
- cheese as required – I used grated Mozzarella cheese
- Pepper Powder As Required
- oil/ghee/butter as required

Method:
- Heat a dosa tawa
- once hot, spread a ladleful of batter (forming thick base)
- add 2 tbsp of pizza sauce on top
- sprinkle few grated cheese
- gently place the toppings (onions, colored bell peppers/ capsicums, olives)
- Sprinkle Few More Grated Cheese On Top
- add a tsp of pepper powder/chili flakes as per taste
- close with the lid and cook for 10 minutes or until cheese gets melted
- when the cheese melts, gently take out and serve hot
