Orange Cup Cake eggless is a good choice of naturally flavored Cup cakes. in this recipe, used cane sugar instead of normal refined white sugar. This recipe involves mixing few dry ingredients such as flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and combining with orange juice and few shredded orange pulps. This Is The First Time I Tried Some Different Flavor With My Regular Cup Cakes. the measurement given below will give five to six medium orange cup cakes
Ingredients to make Orange Cup Cake:
- All Purpose Flour – 1 cup (200grams)
- Sugar – 1/2 cup(100grams)
- Orange – 1
- butter – 3 tbsp
- baking powder – 1 tsp
- baking soda -1/2 tsp
- curd -1/2 cup
- mixed nuts
- Orange Food Color
Method:
Preparation time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Bake Time: 20 mins
Step 1- extracting orange zest and juice:
- start Sieving orange to get few orange zest. (Try to take 2 tsp of orange zest)
- keep this aside
- in a mixie jar, add orange pulp removing outer cover
- blend it into thick paste without adding any water
- filter it to a bowl to remove pulps
- this will provide 1/4 cup of thick orange juice
- keep this aside
Step 2- preparing Cup Cake batter:
- in a mixing bowl, add curd, sugar, orange zest and butter (at room temperature)
- combine it well without making any lumps
- add dry ingredients such as all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda using sieve to prevent any lumps being formed
- add food color and mix it together with the cup cake batter
- orange cup cake batter is ready now for baking
Step 3 – baking cup cakes:
- in a baking cup cakes, place cup cake moulds in it
- pour batter in each cup cake mould (DON’T FILL UNTIL THE BRIM LEAVING SPACE FOR BAKING)
- Sprinkle few assorted nuts on top
- pre-heat oven at 180C/350F for 10 minutes
- place the baking tray inside the oven and bake for 20 minutes
