Instant Kesar Milk Peda

Instant Kesar Milk Peda is so simple and quick milk sweet using condensed milk. the procedure is so simple that involves combining the ingredients and cook for 10-12 minutes time, will give a delightful and mouth-watering Kesar Peda. If wanted to make Milk peda without adding saffron strands, can simply add milk alone without saffron strands. Sharing below the recipe I recently made at home

Ingredients to make Instant Kesar Milk Peda:

  • condensed milk -1 cup -150grams
  • milk powder – 1.5 cups – 225grams
  • cardamom powder – 1/8 tsp
  • saffron strands – 5-7
  • milk – 2 tbsp

Method:

  • pre-soak saffron strands in warm milk for 10 minutes
  • keep this aside
  • in a heavy bottomed pan, add condensed milk with a tsp of ghee and cook for 3-5 minutes
  • add milk powder in the pan. mix it well without making any lumps
  • keep stirring the mixture for 10 minutes or until gets perfect consistency

Perfect consistency: mixture comes together without sticking to the bottom. (or) Take small portion of the mixture, roll it to a small ball, it should get sticky

  • Turn off flame
  • allow it to cool for 5 minutes
  • After 5 minutes, take small portion of the mixture, roll it to a desired shape
  • place a nut in the middle (optional)
  • repeat the procedure
  • Instant Kesar Milk peda is ready!!! it can be stored in air-tight container and can be consumed for a week
