Chilli Cheese Paratha

Chilli Cheese Paratha is one of the easiest and dinner menu choice. The recipe involves combining a simple set of ingredients and the addition of Cheese of choice, makes a delicious and Mouth-watering Paratha. Step by Step instruction with video explanation to make this wonderful recipe is given below. Serve Chilli Cheese Paratha with Homemade Yogurt or any pickle of choice

Ingredients to make Chilli Cheese Paratha:

For Dough Preparation:

  • Whole Wheat Flour – 2.5 Cups
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required

For Chilli Cheese Stuffing:

  • Cheese- 1.5 Cups (Mozzarella Cheese-grated)
  • Green Chilies – 1 tbsp
  • Mint Leaves – 2 tbsp
  • Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala -1/2 tsp
  • Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Butter as required


Dough Preparation:

  • In a bowl, add ingredients for “Dough Preparation”
  • prepare dough by adding water partly
  • apply a drop of oil on top surface
  • cover with damp cloth.set aside for 30 minutes

Chilli Cheese Stuffing:

  • Simply add all ingredients “For Chilli Cheese Stuffing”
  • Combine well
  • set aside

Chilli Cheese Paratha:

  • Split the prepared dough into four equal parts
  • Roll it into balls
  • take one ball. Dust with some flour in a flat surface
  • start spreading into round shape using Chapathi Rolling pin
  • Place 3tbsp of chilli cheese stuffing
  • Close by making pleats
  • dust with some flour if required and spread into round shape

  • Heat a dosa pan/tawa
  • apply butter on top
  • place chilli cheese paratha and cook gently all over the surface flipping both sides
  • take out once both sides are thoroughly cooked

Chilli Cheese Paratha is ready!!! Serve hot with Curd/pickle/Gravy
